UNIBRAD Consultation on the "Guiding Principles on Gender Equality and Diversity Competence Research Excellence Standards”

Following on from last year’s GENOVATE Café and in advance of the GENOVATE National Learning Circle and GENOVATE Café scheduled to take place on 16th February 2015, UNIBRAD has had its first consultation on the "Guiding Principles on Gender Equality and Diversity Competence Research Excellence Standards” on 13th November 2014.

Attended by senior managers including Deputy vice chancellor, pro vice chancellors and a cross section of GENOVATE Institutional and Faculty Gender equality Change Academy Teams (GeCATs) and Advisory Board members, the event also involved our visitors from the Society Integration Foundation in Latvia will also be in attendance.

The event offered an opportunity for our GeCATs and advisory board members to meet with the GENOVATE team and our Latvian visitors adding a European context to continuing the conversation on promoting gender equality in research and innovation at Bradford.

Plans are in place to extend the conversation adopting both top-down and bottom-up approaches throughout the organisation and with our strategic collaborators.

Further information on GENOVATE café and NLC can be found on the UNIBRAD internal website.
