The GENOVATE Community consist of seven GENOVATE partner institutions; the GENOVATE International Advisory Board; key strategic collaborators and stakeholders and the general public. It is a mechanism designed to facilitate meaningful knowledge exchange across the community at local, national and international levels within each of the partner institutions’ countries, across Europe and globally.

Luleå University of Technology is the Swedish partner of the GENOVATE consortium. The LTU team members come from several divisions at LTU: Centre for Distance-spanning Technology, Industrial Work Environment and Gender&Technology.

Centre for Distance-spanning Technology (CDT) is a research, design and innovation joint venture between the core partners Luleå University of Technology and the IT industry.

The establishment of CDT’s innovation and gender platform is made possible by the combined efforts of CDT’s concluded and ongoing initiatives and projects in gender equality and diversity. The innovation and gender platform supports CDT's strategic business activities as well as CDT’s and its partners’ gender mainstreaming processes both in academia and industry. The aim of the innovation and gender platform is to contribute to an inclusive, innovative and reflective society.
